o <br /> <br />That Lot 2, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 2, was acquired by T&G Land, Inc. <br />in 2002 and the site of the proposed recycling operation addressed in Resolution #01-06-241 <br />is reduced to Lot 1, Block 4, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 2. <br /> <br />That on June 2, 2003, the City of Ramsey sent out formal purchase offers to the owners of <br />Lots 1 and 2, Block 2, Gateway North Industrial Park Plat 2, which lots are located east of <br />the Subject Property. <br /> <br />o <br /> <br />That on June 9, 2003, the City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority ("EDA") <br />identified a Critical Blight Redevelopment Project Area in the vicinity of 141st Avenue N.W., <br />Basalt Street N.W., and Azurite Street N.W., which includes the Subject Property. <br /> <br />10. <br /> <br />That the City has engaged the services of Hakanson Anderson Associates to prepare plans <br />and specifications to consider a City project for the installation of sanitary sewer, municipal <br />water and street improvements on 141st Avenue N.W. between Azurite Street N.W. and <br />Basalt Street N.W. and north on Basalt Street N.W. to County Road #116. <br /> <br />11. <br /> <br />The City's plan is to prepare the Critical Blight Redevelopment Project Area for higher <br />quality development that will increase the tax base currently being generated in the area and <br />complement the City's current industrial development project to the west (Gateway North <br />Industrial Park #5). <br /> <br />12. <br /> <br />That two years has elapsed since the issuance of the conditional use permit to St. Paul <br />Terminals and a significant amount of improvements remain to be completed in order to <br />complete implementation of the terms and requirements of the conditional use permit. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br />Kurak, and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br />Councilmember <br /> <br />Kurak <br />Cook <br />Elvig <br />Pearson <br />Strommen <br />Zimmerman <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-07-181 <br /> Page 2 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
