Board Member Johnson introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #03-06-134 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDINGS OF FACT #0648 RELATING TO A <br />REQUEST FOR A VARIANCE FROM MAXIMUM CUL-DE-SAC LENGTH <br />RESTRICTION <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Monarch Homes, hereinafter referred to as "Applicant", has properly <br />applied for a Board of Adjustment variance to the cul-de-sac length of 600 feet established in <br />Section 9.50.30, Subd. 3 (g) of the Ramsey City Code on the property generally east of Tiger <br />Street and north of Armstrong Blvd., and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />That part of the south half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 32, Range <br />25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying southerly of the north 330 feet thereof and lying <br />westerly of the east 855.78 feet thereof; <br /> <br />Except <br /> <br />The north 300 feet of the south 550 feet of the west 363 of said south half of the <br />Northwest Quarter; <br /> <br />Also Except <br /> <br />That part of said south half of the Northwest Quarter lying southwesterly of the <br />centerline of Armstrong Boulevard (Aka County Road No. 83). <br /> <br />Also Except <br /> <br />That part taken for road purposes subject to easements of record. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT <br />OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />That the Applicant appeared before the Board of Adjustment for a public hearing pursuant to <br />Section 9.03.05 of the Ramsey City Code on June 5, 2003, and that said public hearing was <br />properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are hereby incorporated as a <br />part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is zoned R-1 Single Family Residential and the Applicant has made <br />proper application to the City to plat the Subject Property with into 11 new single family lots <br />and 1 existing single family homestead. <br /> <br />3. That Section 9.50.30, Subd. 3(g) of City Code limits the length of a cul-de-sac to 600 feet. <br /> <br /> <br />
