Councilmember Cook introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 4403-06-161 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING PRELIMINARY PLAT APPROVAL OF TIGER <br />MEADOWS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Monarch Homes Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Developer", has properly <br />applied for preliminary plat approval of Tiger Meadows on the following described property <br />located in the City of Ramsey: <br /> <br />That part of the south half of the Northwest Quarter of Section 8, Township 32, Range <br />25, Anoka County, Minnesota lying southerly of the north 330 feet thereof and lying <br />westerly of the east 855.78 feet thereof; <br /> <br />Except <br /> <br />The north 300 feet of the south 550 feet of the west 363 of said south half of the <br />Northwest Quarter; <br /> <br />Also Except <br /> <br />That part of said south half of the Northwest Quarter lying southwesterly of the <br />centerline of Armstrong Boulevard (Aka County Road No. 83). <br /> <br />Also Except <br /> <br />That part taken for road purposes subject to easements of record. <br />(the "Proposed Plat") <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on March 11, 2003, the City of Ramsey received an application and sketch <br />plan from Monarch Homes Inc. for a proposed single family plat; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 3, 2003 the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan and <br />recommended that the Developer proceed to the preliminary plat stage; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on April 10, the Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the Proposed <br />Plat and recommended a cash payment to satisfy park dedication obligations and that half of said <br />funds be allotted to park improvements for Autumn Heights Park; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 7, 2003, the Developer submitted a preliminary plat for the <br />Proposed Plat to the City; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, on May 7, 2003 the Developer submitted an application requesting a <br />variance to the 600-foot maximum cul-de-sac length; and <br /> <br /> <br />
