Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Kurak, Cook, Elvig, Pearson, and Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Case #18: Report from the Finance Committee The Finance Committee met on July 22, 2003 to discuss the following cases: 1) Parking Lot Construction for Elmcrest Park The Finance Committee recommended that the City Council approve the use of 2003 C.I.P. monies for Elmcrest Park, at a not-to-exceed amount of $60,000 by authorizing preparation of specifications and the advertisement for bids and direct staff to present the RFP to the Finance Committee prior to submittal. 2) Design Phase for Alpine Park's Playground Project The Finance Committee recommended authorizing the use of $16,000 of Park Trust Fund monies for the 2003 Alpine Park C.I.P project. 3) Discussion Item: Funding of Tennis Court Resurfacing The Finance Committee recommended that the staff receive quotes for resurfacing and crack filling of the tennis courts at Titterud Park and River's Bend park and that the costs and funding options be presented to the City Council or Finance Committee, whichever occurs first. 4) Discussion Item: Lease/Purchase of Mowing Equipment Item was tabled. Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman, to ratify the recommendations of the Finance Committee. Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, and Councilmembers Elvig, Zimmerman, Cook, Kurak, and Pearson. Voting No: None. MAYOR AND COUNCIL INPUT 1) Work Session A work session was scheduled for Wednesday August 6th at 5:30 at City Hall. 2) Audio Problems City Administrator Norman noted that there were some audio problems for about 30 to 45 minutes at the start of the meeting where sound was not broadcasted.
