Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon indicated that is not a good situation, and <br />Staff would want to see a maneuvering area on the new plan. They would stand by the <br />recommendation, and if the City Council wants to give leniency they would recommend the <br />escrow situation. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner Brauer, seconded by Commissioner Watson to recommend that the <br />City Council grant approval of the proposed site plan for a manufacturing/office building <br />contingent upon compliance with City Staff Review Letter dated August 1, 2003. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Acting Chairperson Johnson, Commissioners Brauer, Watson, and <br />Shepherd. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioner Van Scoy. <br /> <br />Case #8 <br /> <br />Zoning Bulletin <br /> <br />The Zoning Bulletin was noted. <br /> <br />OTHER COMMISSION BUSINESS <br /> <br />Associate Planner Geisler indicated they had discussed a meeting for the Chapter 9 <br />Environmental section, and she wondered if the Commission wants a special meeting for that <br />review or wants it as part of a regular meeting. <br /> <br />Chairperson Johnson stated he would prefer a separate meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Watson concurred. <br /> <br />Assistant Community Development Director Trudgeon stated the City Council will be adopting <br />several of the ordinance sections, and the last one to review is the Environmental section. He <br />added the preliminary plat for the Town Center will go to the City Council on Tuesday, August <br />12th but they are holding back the Town Center zoning document, and they will be bringing the <br />Design Standards to the next meeting. He stated they have five commercial site plans for the <br />next meeting. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer commented that concerning the Town Center, they had talked about <br />adding legal staff.
