Case #4: Accept Resignation of Public Works Employee <br /> <br />Director of Public Works Kapler reported that Jim Lacey of Public Works has submitted notice <br />that he has accepted a position with the City of St. Francis and his last day of employment with <br />the City of Ramsey will be March 5, 1999. He advised that staff has prepared postings to be <br />published the week of February 22, reflecting a starting wage of $11.57 per hour with <br />applications being accepted until 5 p.m., March 5 (internally) and March 23 (externally). <br />Interviews would take place the week of April 5. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to recommend that City <br />Council authorize posting internally and externally the position of Public Works Maintenance <br />Worker at a starting wage orS11.57 per hour. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Anderson.
