PIPELINE EASEMENT ACQUSITION <br />By: Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />Northern Natural Gas Company is in the process of planning to extend a pipeline through <br />the northern part of Ramsey. The company is required to submit permits to cross City <br />public right-of-way, and they have submitted this documentation. Additionally, the <br />current pipeline and easements cross several City-owned parcels. In order to construct <br />the proposed second pipeline, Northern Natural Gas Company needs to acquire <br />temporary construction easements and, in some cases, rights to install more then one <br />pipeline. <br /> <br />Observations: <br /> <br />All of the easement documentation has been forwarded to the City Attorney for his <br />review and recommendation.
