CASE # <br /> <br />SITE SELECTION/OPINION OF FIRE STATION 32 <br />By: Sean Walther, Community Development Assistant <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />At the March 23, 1999 City Council meeting, the City Administrator was directed to <br />contact a planning consultant to review the proposed and available sites for locating a <br />second fire station, the Hoisington-Koegler Group Inc. (HKGI) was chosen to present <br />the opinion. On Friday, April 2, 1999, staff submitted the information requested by <br />HKGI. <br /> <br />The opinion was not available at the time of agenda printing. An overview of the opinion <br />will be presented at the Council meeting on April 13, 1999. <br /> <br />Financing: <br /> <br />A 20-year intra fund loan from the: Landfill Trust Fund would be utilized for site <br />acquisition, construction costs, and architectural fees. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to adopt Resolution #99-04-XXX to authorize acquisition of one of the <br />recommended properties considered by HKGI for the purposes of constructing a 2na fire <br />station. <br /> <br />Reviewed by: <br /> <br />Community DevelopmentAssistant <br />CityAdministrator <br />Fire Chief <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />CC: 041/14/99 <br /> <br />jo/fire~ta2 <br /> <br /> <br />
