The project <br /> the purchase an_4 construction of a wood framed play structure at Ran~sey's Central Park <br /> 1999 or early 2030 (The existing p!~y equipment will be removed by ~e City). <br /> <br />The: :ention of the prcject is that cash donations will be received in the amount of $20,000, <br />vo!': eers will donate ti-tek labor and the City will contriLute an additional $24,000. The City <br />w/ii: '-~Iect a fn'm to provide the play equipment based on qualifications. These qualifications <br />inci~,,4e: experience with this type of project, availability of organizational and f-mud raising <br />documents and an architectural model of the play structure to be purchased. Your SOQ must be <br />rec~i-'-~d at Ramsey City Hall, 15153 Ncwthen Blvd. NW~ Ramsey, MN 55303, by 5:00 p.m. on <br />April 7, 1999. It is expected subrnitters will be notified of the City's selection on or before April <br />14, 1599. <br /> <br />In addition to the usual qualifications, the Park and Recreation Commiss!.on is requiring that <br />venders specifically address the following items in the SOQ. <br /> <br />The vendor should have significant experience in "Community-Built" play structures (Please <br />provide examples of projects in the metro area with contact names and numbers - Also, <br />specify which projects were coordinated by the'installation supervisor who would be <br />assigned the Central Park project). <br /> <br />The vendor should have an architectural model of the play equipment to be installed to serve <br />as a visual sales tool in securing volunteer and donation support, as well as aiding on <br />installation day. (Please indicate if a model is available, if there is additional cost, the timing <br />for City receipt of the model after request and if the model can accurately represent the <br />expected $44,000 in cash expenditures plus donated labor). <br /> <br /> <br />
