PRIORITY 2) Any event directly sponsored by the City of Ramsey. <br />PRIORITY 3) Events conducted by Ramsey public, civic and non-profit _ <br /> <br /> a) Senior Citizen Groups . <br /> Note: The lower level south was funded with Federal funds for senior <br /> citizens. This specific area is available to senior citizens with minimal <br /> reservations described in this policy. <br /> b) Groups performing a public service (e.g., AA, Mediation Services, <br /> educational services) <br /> c) Groups whose purpose is to perform public service (e.g. Boy or <br /> Girl Scouts, RYAA) <br /> d) Groups who wish to use the facility for recreation or routine <br /> meetings. <br /> <br />C;~ (may not 'a:e *~ ~"-;~':~'~ !eve! ~o',:thx, <br /> . . ~ ............ v-- lower Public usage of the rooms <br />will be allowed for non-profit clubs and organizations. Weddings and private parties are <br />not allowed. Space in the Municipal Center/Ci .ty Hall is not available for rental by <br />individuals for private purposes or by groups raising funds not used solely for charitable <br />or communi .ty pu~oses, <br /> <br />Every. group using the facility must have competent adult leadership, at least 21 years of <br />age. Any special supervision needed shall be supplied by the applicants as requested by <br />the <br /> City Staff. However, the City reserves the right to assign a City. supervisor and/or <br />custodian when appropriate, the cost to be charged to the group using the facility. <br /> <br />RESERVATIONS <br /> <br />Reservations may be made no more than six nine months in advance with the exceptions <br />of annual lease agreements, permit requests must be received at the City Hall Customer <br />Service Counter at least fourteen (14) working days in advance. Permit requests must be <br />completed and returned to the City Hall Service Counter by all groups requesting the use <br />of the City facilities. All entries must be completed to include any special equipment or <br />materials needed. <br /> <br />_Cancellations should be made three (3) working days..in advance of the scheduled date. <br />The reservation will be confirmed after the signed use permit and appropriate deposit is <br />received. <br /> <br />Only equipment re. quested and approved on the permit will be issued for use by a group. <br />Permits .are issued for the dates, hours and area specified.
