RESOLUTION- AMENDING AGENDA PHOTOCOPYING AND MAILING FEES By: Joyce Pruitt Hottinger, Administrative Services Manager I I ! I I Background: , On May 11, 1999 Staff presented a case to Council with several options for fee charges for the copying and distribution of the City Council Agenda. The item was tabled for further discussion at a future Council Work Session. Discussion during the May 18, 1999, Work Session established the following recommended Agenda fee changes: CITY COUNCIL AGENDA PACKET (Includes agendas, cases, background information, binding and covers) > Current fee is $0.30/page in addition to appropriate First Class mailing fees. ~ Work Session Recommendation: $600.00 annual charge, or $50.00 monthly charge, for one-year of copying and mailing City Council Agenda packets; A free copy will be available to the public at the library and City Hall I I$ I I I I AGENDA SHEETS ONLY (Includes typical 2-4 pages of list of City Council agenda items) > Current fee is $12.00/year >' Estimated actual cost is $15.12/year ~ Work Session Recommendation: $20.00/year Place Agenda on Ramsey's Web Page AGENDA MAILING WITH COVER SHEETS (Includes typical 2-4 pages of list of City Council agenda items, as well as case cover sheets) > Current fee is $24.00/year > Estimated actual cost is $101.52 ~ Work Session Recommendation: $125.00/year Requestors of agendas will be notified that the City will require full advanced annual payment prior to the mailing of any agendas. Committee Action: Based on Council Work Session discussion, adopt the attached resolution amending the Ramsey Fee Schedule.
