Absent: None. <br /> <br />Case #2: <br /> <br />Consideration of Probationary Period of Finance Clerk $oa,~ Smith <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manger Pruitt Hottinger stated that staff is recommending <br />extending the probationary period another six months for Joan Sm/th, Finance Clerk. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to recommend <br />Council adopt the resolution extending the probationary period of Finance Clerk Joan <br />Smith. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Anderson. Voting No: <br />None. <br /> <br />Case#3: Administrative Policy: Recruitment Policy for Reclassified City <br /> Positions <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Pruitt Hottinger stated that at the last meeting, staff was <br />directed to draft an administrative policy for reclassifying City positions. She presented <br />the draft. <br /> <br />The second sentence in the first paragraph of Policy reads: Realizing that in a few cases, <br />the Ramsey City Council may determine that some temporary positions require <br />reclassification to regular status due to a demonstrated need for the increased workload. <br />Councilmember Anderson suggested the following amendment to that sentence: In a few <br />cases, the Ramsey City Council may detennine that some of these temporary positions <br />require reclassification to regular status. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Garnet and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to recommend <br />Council approval of the administrative policy, as amended, for reclassified (fi:om <br />temporary to regular status) City positions. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Anderson.
