In order to meet the maintenance costs which results from continued use of these <br />facilities, a per event, non-refundable fee is charged for ail reservations of the facilities, <br />except for the following groups/function: <br /> <br />a) <br />b) <br />c) <br />d) <br /> <br />Governmental functions <br />Senior citizen groups <br />Youth or youth oriented groups (Boy or Girl Scouts, RYAA) <br />Women of Today <br /> <br />~ The per event/day, non-refundable fee will be based on a resident versus non- <br />resident basis and will be reviewed and adjusted periodically by Council resolution. NO <br />permit is confirmed until permit fee is paid (first come -first served), <br /> <br />Keys may be issued for access to the facilities with a key deposit that is refundable upon <br />return of the key. This deposit will be reviewed and adjusted periodically by Council <br />resolution. Transfer of the key to another individual or group is not allowed. Keys <br />cannot e u cate. <br /> <br />Refundable damage deposits will be charged to ail groups using the facilities. This <br />deposit will be returned upon satisfactory inspection after the event..V_iolations of any <br />rules 0fthis policy may result in forfeiture of all deposit money, the termination of the <br />event, and loss ofopportur!ity to use the facility in the future. Groups entering into one- <br />year leases or renting a facility for more than one event can roll the damage deposit <br />forward until termination of the lease or the end of the scheduled events. This deposit <br />will be reviewed and adjusted periodically by Council resolution. It is the responsibility <br />of the group utilizing the facility to clean up the area used, to lock all doors, and turn off <br />all lights before leaving the facility. The need for additional cleaning or other <br />maintenance could result in the City's retention of all or part of the damage deposit. <br /> <br />HOURS OF USE <br /> <br />The facilities may be used by organized groups and the general public between the hours <br />of 7:00 a.m. and 10:30 p.m., Monday_t .hr. ough Friday, and Saturdays and Sundays from <br />9:00 a.m. to 9:00. p,m. No rental is offered on "ma_ior" holidays including N. ew Year's <br />~ay, Easter, Fourth 0f,luly. Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Eve (after 5:0.0 <br />p.m.). Access is limited to the period of the time reserved. <br /> <br />USE OF FURNITURE AND EQUIPMENT <br /> <br />Chairs and tables may be moved about within the room in which they are located, but not <br />moved from room to room. All furniture and equipment should be used for its intended <br />purpose. If some furniture is in use prior to and during the event, it may not be used at <br />the event (e.g., a table holding a display or appliances may not be used for some other <br />purpose).
