Councilmember the following resolution and moved for its adoption: introduced RESOLUTION #99-10- RESOLUTION ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD EXTENSION FOR FINANCE CLERK WHEREAS, Joan Smith began employment at the City of Ramsey on September 21, 1998, as a Finance Clerk; and WHEREAS, on April 27, 1999, the Ramsey City Council authorized providing a six-month extension to the Finance Clerk's existing six month probationary period to provide more time for evaluation; WHEREAS, Ms. Smith's supervisor has provided a satisfactory employee performance appraisal for Joan Smith, and recommended retaining Ms. Smith at the City of Ramsey as a regular part-time Finance Clerk, effective on Ms. Smith's one-year anniversary date of September 21, 1999; and WHEREAS, the Personnel Committee, at its October 12, 1999 meeting agreed with the recommendation to retain Joan Smith as a regular, part-time Finance Clerk, effective on Ms. Smith's one-year anniversary date of September 21, 1999. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the City Council of the City of Ramsey confirms the recommendation of the Personnel Committee to end the probationary period for Joan Smith and change her status to regular, part-time Finance Clerk, effective on Ms. Smith's one-year anniversary date of September 21, 1999.
