CASE #: <br /> <br />INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCE TO REPEAL ORDINANCE #98-05 <br /> By: Zoning Administrator Sylvia Frolik <br /> <br />Background: <br /> <br />As you may recall, on August 24, 1999, Staff presented Council with a case to adopt an <br />ordinance (#99~11) to vacate the 'bulb' on the eastern terminus of McKinley Street. A similar <br />ordinance was adopted in 1998 (#98-05) for the same purpose but with a typographical error in <br />the legal description. The error was corrected with the adoption of#99-11. <br /> <br />Observation: <br /> <br />Ordinance #99-11 was recorded at the County and it now becomes necessary to repeal Ordinance <br />#99-05. The proposed ordinance for repealing purposes is enclosed for review. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br /> <br />City Staff reeommends introduction of the Ordinance to repeal #98-05. <br /> <br />Council Action: <br /> <br />Motion to introduce an ordinance to repeal Ordinance #98-05, which inaccurately describes that <br />portion of McKinley Street to be vacated. <br /> <br />CC: 10/26/99 <br /> <br /> <br />
