ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey Economic Development Authority (EDA) conducted a regular meeting on <br />March 9, 1999, at the Anoka-Hennepin Technical College, Room 11SA, 1355 Highway gl0 NW, <br />Anoka, MN 55303. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />David Kent, Chairperson <br />Glen Hardin <br />Clads Riley <br />Natalie Haas Steffen <br />Kenneth Wagner <br />Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Members Absent: Lydia Scheiber, Vice-Chair <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />James E. Norman, City Administrator <br />Cindy Sherman, Community Development Director <br />Scan Walther, Community Development Assistant <br />Mike Mulrooney, Economic Development Consultant <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mr. Kent called the meeting to order at Anoka-Hennepin Technical College at 7:41 a.m. <br /> <br />APPROVAL OF AGENDA <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen requested adding Case #6 regarding a Business Survey and Case <br />#7 regarding the 25th Anniversary Celebration and City Brochure. Consensus was to approve the <br />agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion by Mr. Hardin and seconded by Mr. Riley to approve the agenda as amended. <br /> <br />Motion carded. Voting Yes: Mr. Hardin, Mr. Riley, Councilmember Haas Steffen, Mr. Wagner <br />and Councilmember Zimmerman. Voting No: None. Absent: Chairperson Kent and Ms. <br />Scheiber. <br /> <br />ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY BUSINESS <br /> <br />Case itl: Proposed Economic Development Section of the Comprehensive Plan <br /> <br />The EDA reviewed and discussed the draft Economic Development section of the <br />Comprehensive Plan. The EDA suggested amendments to the draf~ including the addition of <br />livable wage goals. <br /> <br /> <br />
