3) Consider Authorization to Purchase Computer Network Hardware and Software <br /> Upgrades <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to adopt Resolution #99- <br />07-133 receiving bids and authorizing contract for the purchase of computer hardware and <br />software contingent upon review by Councilmember Hendriksen. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, and Anderson. <br />Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember Zimmerman. <br /> <br />4) Acquisition of Redevelopment Land South of Mat Precision Tooling <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to enter into an agreement with Robert J. Hunt to <br />acquire the. 89-acre tract of land immediately to the south of Mate Precision Too'ling contingent <br />upon clear title and research of any environmental concerns and notifying the Committee of their <br />findings. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman, and <br />Anderson. VotingNo: None. <br /> <br />5) <br /> <br />Authorize Request for Proposals for Engineering Services for Water Tower #2~and <br />Well #5 <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Anderson to authorize <br />staff to request proposals for engineering services for Water Tower #2 and Well #5 construction. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec, <br /> <br />Councilmembers Hendriksen, Anderson, arid <br /> <br />Case #6: Authorize Master Trail Plan <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman stated that his main concern is a funding source for the cost of the <br />Master Trail Plan. <br /> <br />City Administrator Norman stated that it has already been budgeted. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he understands the concept of needing good presentation <br />material in order to receive funding, but he doesn't want to pay $18,000 to have the plan sit on a <br />shelf. He stated that he would like to verify that moneys are available. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that it is a good idea to have a sound trail plan for the City. <br /> <br />Councilrnember Hendriksen stated that he thinks the Parks Department could do the work. <br /> <br />City Council/July 13, 1999 <br />Page 17 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
