Case #10: Adoption of the 1997 Uniform Fire Code <br /> <br />Fire Chief Kapler stated that every three years the Uniform Fire Code (UFC) is revised and <br />should be adopted by the State of Minnesota's Fire Marshal's Office. The 1994 revision was not <br />adopted by the State, making the 1991 revision the most current one. The City of Ramsey is also <br />operating under the 1991 revision. In the spring of 1999, the State of Minnesota's Fire Marshal <br />Tom Brace formally adopted the 1997 revision of the UFC. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Anderson and seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen to accept <br />that the 1997 Uniform Fire Code be adopted as the City's fire code standard. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Anderson, Hendriksen, and <br />Zimmerman. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #11: Anderson-Dahlen/Knoll Properties LLC Document Amendment <br /> <br />City Attorney Goodrich stated that in April and May, the Council entered into a certain <br />agreement with Knoll Properties LLC including a TIF Agreement and approval of certain <br />revenue bonds. Counsel for the Developer and its lender require certain amendments to these <br />documents. Mr. Goodrich reviewed the amendments that are to be made to the agreement. <br /> <br />Motion by Councitmember Hendriksen and seconded by Councilmember Zimmerman to <br />authorize the Mayor and City Administrator to execute certain legal documents relating to <br />Anderson-Dahlen, Inc. and Knoll Properties LLC, which amendments are to be consistent with <br />the intent of the project as identified in the Council's original actions on this subject. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec, Councilmembers Hendriksen, Zimmerman and <br />Anderson. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #12: Report from Finance Committee <br /> <br />i) Establishment of Capitalization Threshold for Fixed Assets <br /> <br />The Committee provided direction to staff. <br /> <br />2) Increase of Sewer Rates <br /> <br />The Committee tabled this item until more information is received. <br /> <br />City Council/July 13, 1999 <br />Page 16 of 18 <br /> <br /> <br />
