The main course: <br /> <br />'1 Kompan'$ Uitimczte Recipe <br /> <br /> Our Ultimate Recipe is an effective way to raise <br />money for your playground project, and it can be <br />done without ever asking your children to sell or <br />solicit for campaign donations. <br /> This program is exclusive to KOMPAN, and boils <br />down to a means of selling the play environment log <br />by log, play event by play event. Years of fund-raising <br />experience are behind its development. Done cor- <br />rectly it can raise tens of thousands of dollars in a <br />short time. <br /> The Ultimate Recipe comes complete with a eom- <br />prehensive kit of tools that are customized to your <br />design. When combined with the assistance of your <br />KOMPAN play consultant, this is a tried and true <br />approach to achieving playground fund-raising goals. <br /> <br />Build an image <br /> <br /> As is true with any campaign, it's a good idea to kick <br />off the Ultimate Recipe with a highly visible public <br />event. Spaghetti feeds, commemorative T-shirts and <br />dinner auctions are just a few suggestions for image <br />enhancement. (See pages 10-13 for additional ideas.) <br /> This early event doesn't necessarily need to be a big <br />money-maker w think of it as a foot in the door. This system of breaking <br />down the costs will be handy when using the sales <br />meter poster, along with KOMPAN's other fund- <br />raising tools. (See "Essential Ingredients" on page (. <br />for a complete breakdown of KOMPAN's tools and <br />assistance.) <br /> This campaign should target parents, grandparents <br />and other individuals with interest in your success. <br />Use a mailer to contact as many donors as possible. <br /> Ask every family in your school or community to <br />purchase at least one log for the project.
