RAMSEY FIRE DEPARTMENT BODY SPECIFICATIONS Eight Underbody Perimeter Lights (Four Dr Cab) GROUND LIGHTING There shall be eight underbody perimeter lights furnished and installed, One under each cab door, one under each running board at the pump compartment, and two under the rear step to illuminate the ground around the truck. The ground lights shall be activated by the parking brake. Two Compartment Lights Each Compartment COMPARTMENT LIGHTING There shall be two lights per shelf mounted in each compartment. Each light shall be mounted to a vertical unistrut. There shall be one light on the forward wall and one light on the rear wall. Each light shall be mounted in such a way that they are vertically adjustable to provide the optimum lighting in each compartment. Each compartment's lights shall be on a separate circuit, turning on only those compartment lights where the doors are open. Rear Work Light Switch REAR SCENE LIGHTS (BACK-UP LIGHTS) There shall be a switch on the le12 side rear to convert backup lights and rear step lights to scene lights during night operations. The switch shall be of momentary style and shall be connected to a bistable relay, allowing multiple switching locations. Siren/Mic (Federal PA300) ELECTRONIC SIREN AND MICROPHONE There shall be an electronic siren and microphone furnished and installed on the apparatus. Upper Light Pkg w/Lightbar UPPER LIGHT PACKAGE NFPA Warning Light Packaee NFPA WARNING LIGHT PACKAGE The following lighting package includes all of the minimum warning light requirements to comply with the most recent NFPA 1901 Fire Apparatus Standard. Zone A-Front Upper FRONT UPPER LIGHTING ZONE A: There shall be one 56" all front lightbar. The lightbar shall have one 50w rotator in each outboard position with two 3-step cascade mirrors and one 100w fast rotator in the center position with two 2-step cascade mirrors.
