Ramsy Fire <br /> <br /> CHASSIS SPECIFICATIONS <br />The compressor on the engine shall be capable of producing a minimum of 13.2 CFM at 1250 <br />engine rpm. It shall be gear driven, engine oil pressure lubricated and cooled by the engine <br />cooling system. The air compressor shall have a 5-year warranty. <br />Engine Warran .ty, 5 yr/100,000 miles <br /> <br />The Cummins engine shall be warranted for a period of five (5) years or 100,000 miles, <br />whichever occurs first. <br /> <br />Fuel Filter - Engine <br /> <br />FOR ENGINE <br /> <br />A Fleetguard FS 1000 fuel filter shall be installed on the engine. <br /> <br />Exhaust system <br /> <br />The exhaust system shall be installed under the flame with the discharge to the right side forward <br />of the rear tires. <br /> <br />A muffler and .065 walt aluminized steel exhaust tubing supported by bolted on frame brackets <br />shall be installed. <br /> <br />Stainless steel flex tubing is to be installed between exhaust pipe and muffler. System joints <br />shall be connected with lapping bank clamps. <br /> <br />Allison MD-3060PR 4/5-speed w/retarder <br /> <br />The transmission shall be an Allison MD 3060PR 4 speed/5 speed automatic with electronic <br />controls and an output retarder modulated by 1/3 throttle and 2/3 brake pedal actuation. <br /> <br />The transmission shall have two 10 bolt PTO pads. Transmission shall be plumbed to an <br />external cooler in the engine-to-radiator coolant hose in a full flow coolant system application to <br />insure adequate cooling. The transmission shall have two internal oil filters. <br /> <br />Fourth gear hold-in range may be accomplished by wiring for a pumping application. <br /> <br />The transmission gear ratios shall be: <br /> <br />1st 3.49:1 <br />2nd 1.86:1 <br />3rd 1,41:1 <br />4th 1.00:1 <br />5th 0.75:t <br />Rev 5.03:1 <br /> <br />Page 8 of 19 <br /> <br /> <br />
