Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Pending/ <br />Goodrich <br /> <br />12/10/96 <br /> <br />With regard to the McLafferty CUP for a group home, Council <br />directed staff to develop an action plan to amend McLafferty's <br />CUP to require an annual report from the Volunteers of America <br />regarding McLafferty's licensing status and for collecting funds <br />due the City for processing the application in I995 and <br />continued collection of costs incurred in administering the <br />permit - including the option of conciliation court. <br /> <br />Pending/ <br />Goodrich <br /> <br />1/28/97 <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman mentioned that the Bookstore is <br />not in compliance with our sign ordinance. Bookstore has <br />been notified and owner has taken no action to remedy <br />violation. <br /> <br />Pending/ <br />Frolik <br /> <br />6/24/97 <br /> <br />Council voted to authorize City staff to postpone any further <br />enforcement of the sunset clause on required site 'improvements in the <br />commercial districts until May 1, 1999. Ms. Hill asked if they are <br />supposed to come back in after the comp plan is done and <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen hoped they would be a part of the <br />meetings to discuss the Highway #10 corridor with regard to the <br />comp plan. Council asked that you review Code to see <br />if this is a permitted use. Things other than cars are being <br />auctioned there - and it also appears there are things being <br />stored there other than cars. Staff met with new property <br />owner. Auction use is discontinuing and the property will <br />be a used ear lot. They also took up residency in the non- <br />conforming house. Staff is reviewing non-conforming <br />status of home and a reasonable solution. <br /> <br /> <br />
