Monthly Status Report <br /> <br />Frolik/ 12/03/98 The Planning Commission tabled the rezoning request from <br />Complete Reilley Estates Partnership and Arcon Development pending <br /> legal opinion as to which Comprehensive Plan should be <br /> given consideration. The City must also invoke the 60-day <br /> extension for this request and notify the applicants of such. In <br /> addition, the Planning Commission would like to address all <br /> other erroneous zoning at the same time, bringing them into <br /> conformance with the current Comprehensive Plan. They <br /> requested legal opinion as to whether they can request such <br /> rezoning. <br />Goodrich/ 12/03/98 The Planning Commission requested legal opinion as to <br />Pending which Comprehensive Plan should be given consideration for <br /> the Reilley Estates Partnership/Arcon Development rezoning <br /> request, and if the deadline is December 31, 1998 for the <br /> existing Comprehensive Plan. (Please review the legal <br /> opinions of Kennedy and Graven dated April 4, 1997, and <br /> Dom Law Firm dated December 1, 1998 and December 3, <br /> 1998.) In addition, the Planning Commission would like to <br /> address all other erroneous zoning at the same time, bringing <br /> them into conformance with the current Comprehensive Plan. <br /> They requested legal opinion as to whether they can request <br /> such rezoning. <br />Walther/ 12/03/98 The Planning Commission recommended the following <br />Complete changes to Section-9.03.06 (Site Plan Review) of City Code: <br /> Add an irrigation requirement for retention areas; color <br /> rendering is mandatory, and colored material samples will <br /> remain optional unless specifically requested by the City <br /> (subd. 1, c.13); subd. 1, c.2.a should read "Location and site <br /> of any on-site septic system(s) . . ."; insert reference to the <br /> Rates and Fees Schedule, possibly in ~[3; the landscape plan <br /> should also be required to indicate existing trees (instead of <br /> just salvaged trees); insert language into the last paragraph of <br /> subd. 3 regarding partial completion and partial releases; 2"d <br /> sentence of subd. 4, c.2 should read "Parking and <br /> maneuvering areas adjoining . . ." Schedule this proposed <br /> ordinance (as modified) for a public hearing at the January <br /> Planning Commission meeting. <br />Norman/ 12/03/98 Commissioner Jensen once again asked that the Planning <br />Pending Commission be given monthly updates on upcoming projects. <br /> <br /> <br />
