Motion by Commissioner Johnson, seconded by Commissioner l'ensen, to recommend that City <br />Council approve the proposed site plan for the expansion of the LifeFimess-Parabody facility at <br />14150 Sunfish Lake Boulevard NE contingent upon compliance with the City Staff'review Letter <br />dated April 1, 1999, and that a reasonable effort be made to relocate and transplant the existing <br />red cedar trees; and, that parking and off-street parking meet City Code. Further, to accept the <br />exterior finishes as proposed, particularly the metal panels on the breakroom on the west wall <br />because a majority of the structure appendage is glass, fronts a perpetual open wetland area not <br />visible from public roads, and-carries through the architectural accents proposed on the building <br />front. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Anderson, Commissioners Johnson, lensen, Dempsey, <br />Koeiscak, and N'm. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioner Wivoda. <br /> <br />Case #3: <br /> <br />Request for Preliminary Plat Approval of Northfork Itasca Point; Case of <br />North Fork, Inc. <br /> <br />Chairperson Anderson closed the regular portion of the Planning Commission meeting at 8:47 <br />p.rm in order to conduct the public hearing. <br /> <br />Public Hearing <br /> <br />Chairman Anderson called the public hearing to order at 8:47 p.rm <br /> <br />Presentation -.' <br /> <br />Zoning Administrator Frolik stated North Fork, Inc. is requesting preliminary plat approval of <br />another portion of the Northfork P.U.D. located on the north side of Lake Itasca. The plat is to be <br />named Northfork Itasca Point and consists of approximately 35 acres proposed to be platted into <br />seven single family lots and permanent open space to be deeded to the Homeowner's Association <br />in the form of an outlot. <br /> <br />Citizen Input <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />Motion by Commissioner J'ensen, seconded by Commissioner Yotmson, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried.
