9.20.21 <br /> <br />B-1 Business District <br /> <br /> Subdivision I. Intent. The purpose of the B-l, Business District is to <br />provide for areas of commercial development which accommodate shopper type goods and <br />services as contrasted to auto oriented highway commercial activities. <br /> <br /> Subd. 2. Permitted Uses. (Subject to general requirements and <br />performance standards as specified by this chapter.) <br /> <br />a. Retail business <br />b. Eating and drinking establishments <br />c. Offices and banks <br />d. Personal and professional services <br />e. Commercial car washes (drive through, mechanical, self service) <br />f. Funeral homes <br />g. Medical clinics <br />h. Animal clinics <br />i. Day care centers <br />j. Adult uses-accessory <br />k. Public Uses <br />I. Other uses may be permitted upon obtaining a conditional use permit. <br /> <br />No use which discharges non-domestic sewage shall be permitted on a property which is not <br />served by sanitary sewer and municipaI water unless it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of <br />the City that such discharge will have proper containment. No use that discharges large <br />quantities of domestic sewage shall be permitted on a property which is not served by sanitary <br />sewer or municipal water unless it can be demonstrated to the satisfaction of the City that there <br />will be an adequate amount of soil absorption area or soil treatment area. <br /> <br />Subd. 3. Accessory Uses <br /> <br />Commercial or business buildings and structures for a use accessory to the <br />principal use but such use shall not exceed 30% of the gross floor space of <br />the principal use unless otherwise approved by the Council. ~. <br /> <br />Off-street parking including semi-trailer trucks, as regulated and required by <br />this chapter. <br /> <br /> <br />
