Zitco, Inc. Review Letter Page 4 of 4 September 3, 1999 Sign: A sign permit is required for site signage. The current cost of the permit is $100.00. No roof sign is allowed and no wall sign may extend above the top of the wall. The parcel may have 1 free standing sign at 100 square feet and wall signs are limited to 15% of the area of the front wall and 50 % of that allotment may be distributed to other walls of the facility. The building elevations propose wall signage on the south wail of the building over each entrance to identify the individual businesses. The site plan also proposes to have one freestanding sign. Storm Water Management Fee: The City has enacted a Stormwater Management Fee and the current rate is Three Thousand Six Hundred Fifty Eight Dollars ($3,658.00) per commercial acre. The amount of Stormwater Management Fee due on Lots 1, lA and 2, Block 1, Guy Addition is Seven Thousand Four Hundred Sixty Two Dollars ($7,460.00) (2.04 acres x $3658). A cash payment will be required prior to the City issuing a Building Permit. The Zoning Board of Adjustments will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 7, 1999, at the Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, to review the variance application. The Planning Commission will convene immediately following the Board of Adjustment meeting to consider your request for a conditional use permit for the mini-storage units and review your site plan. A copy of the case cover sheets and related materials for the variance, conditional use permit and site plan are enclosed for your information.
