CITY COUNCIL <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey City Council conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, September 28, 1999, at the <br />Ramsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Susan E. Anderson <br />Councilmember Margaret Connolly <br />Councilmember Terry Hendriksen <br />Councilmember Gerald Zimmerman <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Joyce Pmitt Hottinger <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Community Development Director Cindy Sherman <br />Director of Public Works/Fire Chief Dean Kapler <br />City Engineer Steve Jankowski <br />City Attorney William Goodrich <br />Economic Development Consultant Mike Mulrooney <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Mayor Garnet called the regular meeting of the City Council to order at 7:00 p.m. and lead in the <br />Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag. <br /> <br />RECOGNITION OF RAMSEY'S 25TM ANNIVERSARY COMMITTEE <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec recognized the 25"' Anniversary Committee and thanked them for all of their hard <br />work on the celebration. He requested that if anyone is interested in helping with next year's <br />celebration to contact City Hall. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />Jim Green, 5858 158th Lane, stated that he has a neighbor that keeps a commercial truck on his <br />property and been causing problems with the neighbors since May. He stated that he was made <br />aware that there is an ordinance that prohibits commercial vehicles from being stored in the <br />urban area and nothing has been done to make him remove the vehicle. Know he has received a <br />six month period from the City to allow him time to put plans together to construct a garage to <br />house the vehicle.
