Councilmember Connolly stated that she did not have a problem with the item going through the <br />persom~el committee and being brought back to Council. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Zimmerman, seconded by Councilmember Core, oily, to table the <br />item until the next Council meeting. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #I2: <br /> <br />Authorization to Engage Consulting Services for Local Information Services <br />Support <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Pruitt Hottinger stated that the City Council had been made <br />aware of the need for the local information services support n the past. The computer services <br />have been described as "Local Area Network Services", "Information Technology Services" and <br />"Computer Network Support" and "MIS". The City Administrator met with InfoTech of Arden <br />Hills who performs similar services for the Cities of Andover, Champlin and Vadnais Heights. <br />Staff has discussed with InfoTech a possibility of entering into an agreement. InfoTech would <br />provide local information services support for the City of Ramsey at a cost of $80.00 per hour. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen questioned what their standard rate is. <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Pruitt Hottinger replied that she does not know any further <br />information. <br /> <br />Motion by Councilmember Connolly, seconded by Councilmember Hendriksen, to table the <br />item. <br /> <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he would like to help the City <br />achieve the best possible deal and would like to be involved in the process. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting No: None. <br /> <br />Case #13: Report from Public Works Committee <br /> <br />1 and lA) Discussion of Sunfish Pond Townhouse Issues <br /> <br />Councihnember Zimmerman stated that the Council needs to discuss if the City should plow <br />private streets.
