(The one with the language amendment <br />by Bill Goodrich) McLafferty refuses to sign; forwarded to <br />Goodrich for resolution. <br /> <br />Execute Resolution #96-05-132 (Beyer/Zimmerman/Opposed <br />Peterson) approving Patrick McLafferty's request for a CLIP for <br />a group foster home and declaring terms of same. (Add a term <br />to read that all inspection reports will be provided to the City <br />and that this permit will again be reviewed by City Council on <br />November 26, 1996. McLafferty refuses to sign; forwarded <br />to Goodrich for resolution. <br /> <br />Councilmember Haas Steffen told about the goat that visited her and <br />how the Humane Society does not pick up goats, etc. She felt that <br />there should be some policy in place to deal with this kind of thing <br />and the Council voted to refer this to the Horse Care Board. <br /> <br />On the next regular Horse Care Board agenda, include a case by <br />Harvey Wibeto regarding proposed minimum standards for horse <br />shelters and fencing. <br /> <br />With regard to the McLafferty CUP for a group home, Council <br />directed staff to develop an action plan to amend McLafferty's <br />CUP to require an annual report from the Volunteers of America <br />regarding McLafferty's licensing status and for collecting funds <br />due the City for processing the application in 1995 and <br />continued collection of costs incurred in administering the <br />permit - including the option of conciliation court. <br /> <br />Councilmember Zimmerman mentioned that the Bookstore is <br />not in compliance with our sign ordinance. Bookstore has <br />been notified and owner has taken no action to remedy <br />violation. <br /> <br /> <br />
