The owner of <br />the company is interested in building a new 30,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters <br />building in Ramsey. The company is a concrete and masonry contractor. <br />Employment is projected to be approximately 25 jobs upon completion of the <br />project. <br /> <br />STATUS: Two site options are currently being expIored by the company. <br />Construction is the project is expected in 1998. <br /> <br />PARABODY <br /> <br />PROJECT PROFILE: This company is currently located in Ramsey. The company is <br />projecting the development of a 40,000 sq. ft. expansion in the I998. <br /> <br />STATUS: Staff is currently exploring site options adjacent to the company's existing <br />building. We will be meeting again with the company following receipt of a <br />building proposal by the company. <br /> <br />AMCON <br /> <br />PROJECT PROFILE: Amcon is considering the construction a a new 40,000 sq. ft. <br />building in the Ramsey Business Park. One half of the building appears to be pre- <br />leased. Construction is expected to begin in 1998. <br /> <br />STATUS: Staff met with a representative of the company to discuss assistance from <br />the city.
