Improvements: The improvements would consist of installing 3,800 feet of twelve-inch watermain at two locations. The fn'st being the C.S.A.H. #5/T.H. #47 looping which would loop waterrnain from its current southern terminus in Amber Ridge to its current terminus in River's Bend 4th Addition, and along C.S.A.H. #5 to the water tower. The second looping would consist of the 153rd Avenue/T.H. g47 looping from the eastern terminus in Brandseth to the northem terminus in Willow Ridge. Costs: The major costs include construction costs and project overhead. Estimated total project cost is $190,000. 3) Sanitary Sewer Extension Background: It would be advisable to extend sanitary sewer from its current terminus in River's Bend 4th Addition across T.H. #47 to the Lord of Life property. The chief benefit of the extension of sanitary sewer concurrent with the T.H. ~47 STP project is the elimination of boring and jacking costs associated with the extension across T.H. #47. A piece of gravity sewer should also be installed along the east side of the highway to service the Dan Law parcel and Outlot B of Amber Ridge. The Amber Ridge sewer is too high to service this property by gravity. The sewer could be extended at this time since the highway project will absorb the restoration costs and will reduce unit prices due to better traffic control during construction. Improvements: The improvement would consist of installing 1,250 feet of ten- inch sanitary sewer and a manhole. .Costs: The major costs include construction cost and project overhead. The total project cost is estimated at $39,000. 4) Storm Water Projects Background: There currently exists two wetland complexes along T.H. #47 which facilitates storm water storage and which are presently without outlets. The Southeastern Storm Water Study calls for both of these systems to have an outlet. Doing this work in conjunction with the T.H. ~47 STP project will have the advantage of eliminating the cost of boring and jacking the crossings across T.H. #47 and will eliminate some of the restoration costs which will be absorbed by the STP project.
