3. That granting the exception will not be detrimental to the public welfare or
injurious to other property in the area.

We are surrounded by rural residential lots and I don't believe 2 more 2.5 acre lots with
single family residences will be injurious to the neighbors. As a matter of fact, one of the'.
families that will be living on one of those lots is already living on that 40 acres with my
wife and I; so part of the population density increase on that 40 has already happened.
The other daughter has no plans to build in the near future and that parcel will be vacant
for an undetermined amount of time.

4. That the granting of the exception will be harmonious with and in accordance
with the objections of the existing Comprehensive Plan and will not adversely affect the
planning process for adoption of amendments to the Comprehensive Plan.

The current Comprehensive Plan targets my property for rural residential development
and the creation of two more lots for my children is harmonious with that. I have not
been a part of the comprehensive plan update process, but considering the location of my
property, I doubt that the plan update would propose a change in the use of my property
from single family residential.

5. That the proposed subdivision will be consistent with the intent and purpose of
this ordinance.

One of the main intents of the ordinance was to review the impact of new residential
development on existing residential development. It is not likely that there will be an
issue of urban development impacting existing rural development in my area north of
Trott Brook.

'

In conclusion, your consideration of my request for an exception to the moratorium
would be greatly appreciated so that I can proceed to divide the estate for my children.

John Gobematz
17515 St. Francis Blvd. N.W.
Ram~ sey, Iy~ 55303
