Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #98-03- <br /> <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE APPOINTMENT OF DIANA LUND AS ACTING <br />FINANCE OFFICER. <br /> <br />WItEREAS, the Finance Officer is resigning her position, effective March 31, 1998; and <br /> <br /> WltEREAS, it will take a number of weeks to recruit and hire a new Finance Officer; <br />and <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary to designate an Acting Finance Officer until such time as a <br />new Finance Officer is hired; <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: <br /> <br />1) <br /> <br />That Senior Accountant Diana Lund be appointed Acting Finance Officer, effective <br />March 30, 1998. <br /> <br />2) That while she serves as Acting Finance Officer, Ms. Lund's will be compensated at an <br />annualized rate of $45,816, which is an additional $307 per pay period. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember <br /> and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br /> <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 24th day of March, 1998. <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />
