CITY OF RAMSEY POSITION ANALYSIS <br /> <br />POSITION TITLE: <br /> <br />Finance Officer <br /> <br />DEPARTMENT: <br /> <br />Finance <br /> <br />POSITION TITLE OF <br />IMMEDIATE SUPERVISOR: <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION <br /> The primary objective of this position is to oversee, analyze, and recommend the compilation, <br /> preparation, and implementation of overall fmanciaI operations, financial plans, budgets, <br /> accounting systems, expenditures, and investments in accordance with local, State and Federal <br /> regulations. <br /> <br />RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> <br />B. <br />C. <br />D. <br />E. <br />F. <br />G. <br />H. <br />I. <br />$. <br /> <br />Assist in the management operations of jurisdiction. <br />Perform financial activities and financial accounting. <br />Supervise and direct finance department staff. <br />Define and administer proposals, agreements, and contracts/leases. <br />Develop and recommend a finance budget program. <br />Perform communication activities. <br />Design, con/pose and edit material. <br />Process and document information. <br />Manage computer systems for City. <br />Perform other duties as assigned (within the ability and resources of the Finance Officer) at <br />the verbal or written direction of the City Administrator. <br /> <br />TASKS RELATED TO RESPONSIBILITIES: <br /> <br />Assist in the management operations of jurisdiction. <br />1. Assist with governing board policy development. <br />2. Assist with compiling, preparing, and recommending <br /> program. <br />3.
