Subd. 3. <br /> <br /> 2. Ail advertising signs Permitted within the critical area outside the <br /> area set forth in paragraph I above shall conform with the <br /> provisions of §9.12. <br /> (a) Views of the water from vistas and public roads shall not be <br /> impaired by the p, lacement of business or advertising signs; <br /> and <br /> (b) Advertising signs may be located only on the shore side of <br /> public transportation routes which are parallel and adjacent <br /> to the riverfront. <br /> 3. All advertising signs, the location of which is not in conformance <br /> with this section, axe deemed non-conforming uses and shall be <br /> removed within seven years o£the effective date of this section. <br /> <br /> Existing Lots of Record <br /> 1. Lots of record in the office of the County Register of Deeds (or <br /> Registrar of Titles) prior to July 29, 1985 (date of enactment of <br /> section) which do not meet the requirements of $9.21.07 subd. 1, <br /> may be aI10.wed as building sites provided: <br /> (a) Such use is permitted in the zoning district. <br /> ~ Thc ~': ....... Utility Facilities. utility crossings of the Critical Area Corridor or <br /> routing within the corridor shall meet the following standards: <br /> I. Underground placing of the utility facility shall be required <br /> unless economic, technological and land characteristic factors <br /> make underground placement infeasible. Economic <br /> considerations alone shall not be made the major determinate <br /> regarding feasibility. <br /> 2.
