Read appraisal and review and discuss with appraisers as necessary. <br />Prepare 3'ust Compensation Offer Letter for the City's signature on all parcels. <br />Prepare landowners information booklet for each parcel. <br /> <br />In addition, the following activities should be anticip.~ated in providing relocation assistance: <br /> <br /> Initial meeting with the City staff to discuss project coordination and procedures, meetings <br /> with each owner and occupant to provide a written general information on relocation <br /> benefits, documentation requirements, and the process applicable to each of their situations. <br />· Determine needs and preferences for the move and replacement location for the owner and <br /> occupants. Explain relocation benefits, the process involved with relocation, and the <br /> payment documentation requirements. <br />· Offer advisory services regarding the move, explanations of relocation benefits and <br /> procedures, and other assistance as necessary. <br />· Preparing the required Notices of Eligibility for Relocation Assistance and 90-day Notices to <br /> Vacate per the relocation regulations, for the City staff's review and signature. <br />· Assisting the occupants in identifying and documenting eligible, reimbursable, relocation <br /> costs and confirming the submitted costs are reasonable and necessary per the regulations. <br />· Research for and provide referrals to available replacement properties, as requested. <br /> Preparing c/aims for relocation payment and making recommendations to the City regarding <br /> the eligibility of relocation benefits requested by the occupants. <br />· Throughout the project, addressing questions and concerns of the occupants, and advising the <br /> occupants of their rights and obligations in the relocation process. <br />· Throughout the project, re-iewing the' project/relocation status and reviewing any questions <br /> and concerns of the City. <br /> <br />.Compensation: The City proposes to compensate the selected consultant on an hourly fee basis. <br />The consultant shall submit a listing of the hourly charges along with an estimate of the total <br />number of hours anticipated to complete the WOrk. The consultant should notify the City at <br />points when 50% and 80% of this budget number are reached and provide an updated estimate of <br />the cost to complete the work at each of those points. <br /> <br />prOposals shall be received no later than $:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 22, 1998. <br /> <br />Sincerely, <br /> <br />Steven .~.
