Council[member Haas Steffen introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #97-03-062 <br /> <br />A ICESOLUTION ADOPTING FINDING OF FAGT #0420 RELATING TO A REQUEST <br />FROM RHONDA MORRIS FOR A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN OVERAGE <br />IN THE A_MOUNT OF ACCESSORY STRUCTURE SPACE ALLOWED ON A PARCEL <br />OF LAND <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey received an application from Craig and P.honda Morris <br />for a co:~difional use permit for an overage in the amount of accessory structure space allowed on <br />· .~he property generally known as 16735 Nowthen Blvd. NW and legally described as follows: <br /> <br />All that part of the Northwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter of Section 10, Township <br />32, Range 25, Anoka County, Minnesota, except the East 644.00 feet of the South 468.00 <br />feet, as measured along the South and East lines, except that part taken for highway <br />purposes. <br /> <br />(the "Subject Property") <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED BY THIS CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />R_AMSEY, .42qOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA that the findings of fact relating <br />to ~_he request are determined to be as follows: <br /> <br />That on February 7, 1997, Craig and R_honda Morris, hereinafter referred to as <br />"Applicants", properly applied for a conditional use permit for an overage in the amount <br />of accessory structure space allowed on the Subject Property. <br /> <br />That the Applicants appeared before the Ramsey Planning Commission for a public <br />hearing pursuant to Section 9.03.04 of the City Code on March 4, 1997, and that said <br />public heating was properly advertised and that the minutes of said public hearing are <br />hereby incorporated as a part of these findings by reference. <br /> <br />'That the Subject Property and surrounding parcels are zoned R-1 Rural Residential. <br /> <br />That the Subject Property is approximately 35 acres in size. <br /> <br />That Section 9.11.02 of the Ramsey City Code states that on parcels of land 10.6 acres <br />and larger, the total square footage of the main garage and ail accessory structures shall <br />not exceed 5,664 square feet and no single accessory structure shall exceed 4,800 square <br />t~et. <br /> <br />· That the Applicants are proposing to purchase the property and breed and raise Arabian <br /> horses for their own personal use. <br /> <br /> ! <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I' <br /> I <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br />I <br />! <br />I <br />I <br /> <br /> <br />
