Councilmember adoption: introduced the following resolution and moved for its RESOLUTION #98-05- RESOLUTION GRANTING FINAL PLAT APPROVAL TO APPLE RIDGE 2ND ADDITION WHEREAS, Oakwood Land Development, Inc., hereinafter referred to as "Developer", has properly applied for final plat approval on the following described property located in the City of Ramsey: Outlot A, Apple Ridge, Anoka County, Minnesota. (the "Subject Property") WHEREAS, on January 10, 1997, the City of Rarnsey received an application and sketch plan for the proposed plat of Apple Ridge; and WHEREAS, on February 4, 1997, the Planning Commission reviewed the sketch plan for Apple Ridge and recommended proceeding to the preliminary plat stage; and WHEREAS, on February 13, 1997, the Park and Recreation Commission reviewed the proposed plat of Apple Ridge and recommended that park dedication be satisfied with a cash payment to be utilized towards the acquisition of land in the area for a community/neighborhood park; and WHEREAS, on February 25, 1997, at the request of the Developer, the sketch plan was submitted to City Council for review and comment and the City Council recommended proceeding to the preliminary plat stage based on the discussion at the meeting; and WHEREAS, on April 1, 1997, the Planning Commission conducted public hearings regarding the proposed preliminary plat of Apple Ridge and rezoning the Subject Property from R-1 Rural Residential to R-1 Urban Residential; and WHEREAS, on April 7, 1997, the Planning Commission recommended that City Council approve the preliminary plat of Apple Ridge; and WHEREAS, on May 6, 1997, the Planning Commission reconvened the public hearing on the application to rezone the Subject Property to R-1 Urban Residential and recommended City Council approval of the request; and WHEREAS, on June 10, 1997, the City Council adopted Ordinance #97-06 rezoning the Subject Property to R-1 Urban Residential; and
