Selection Process <br /> <br />What type of interview/selection process would you use to narrow the pool of candidates <br />to ten people you believe are suitable Volunteer Public Safety Aides. Include any <br />requirement for written applications, tests, resumes, background investigation and any <br />other means of evaluating applicants and determirling which ones will advance to finalist <br />status. <br /> <br />Training Requirements for Volunteers <br /> <br />What type of pre-service training will be required of each Volunteer Public Safety Aide? <br />Who will sponsor it? What involvement will you have? What qualifications do you have <br />to assist with pre-service training and ongoing in-service training? <br /> <br />Funding the Volunteer Public Safety. Aide Pro_re'am <br /> <br />You may assume an annual program budget of $25,000 for 1999. This figure <br />includesALL expenses that will be incurred as a result of any activity performed by <br />members of this unit. Exclude the base pay of the Corporal but include the additional <br />monthly stipend of $110. Be sure to include estimated costs for items such as gasoline, <br />insurance premiums, uniforms, training, equipment, supplies, etc. that the City will have <br />to pay for. <br /> <br /> <br />
