Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-07- A RESOLUTION REALLOCATING 1997 COMMIJ'NITY ~)EVELOrMENT m. ocg treNT (cfm, ~) ruNI)S WHEREAS, the City of Ramsey receives an annual allocation of CDBG funds from Anoka County; and WHEREAS, in 1997 the City of Ramsey allocation was in the amount of $33,120.00; and WHEREAS, City Council designated a portion of the 1997 funds for a comprehensive plan update in the amount of $3,231.00 and public service agencies in the amount of $17,600.00; and WHEREAS, $11,289.00 of Ramsey's 1997 CDBG allocation was not designated for any specific project; and WHEREAS, on January 27, 1998, the Ramsey City Council made a decision to pursue a senior housing project within the City in cooperation with the Anoka County HRA and allocated CDBG funds towards site acquisition/improvements. WHEREAS, the Anoka County Board approved the use of CDBG funds for a senior housing project in Ramsey. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: That the City of Ramsey hereby applies to Anoka County for the reallocation of 1997 CDBG funds in the amount $11,289.00 for site acquisition for a senior housing facility, CDBG Project #890. 2. That a certified copy of this resolution be forwarded to the Anoka County CDBG Administrator.
