The County has hired SRF, Inc. to prepare plans and specifications for the <br /> oOadway. The City of Ramsey is pro',dding right-of-way for the project and has initiated actions <br /> address wetland mitigation which has been determined to be unavoidable. At this time the <br /> following activities have been completed: <br />I An environmental assessment worksheet has been prepared and submitted for agency <br /> comment. The Comment period ends on June 17, 1998. <br /> <br /> I <br /> I <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />The eminent domain proceedings /'or acquisition of the necessary right-of-way and <br />wetland mitigation area have been commenced, and the City will acquire title to the land <br />on July 15, 1998. <br /> <br />An engineer's estimate has been prepared and is attached. This estimate shows the City <br />having an 11.7% share of the construction costs or a total mount of $71,504. This cost <br />is attributable to two project elements. First is a bituminous path which will parallel the <br />roadway on the north. The second element includes the excavation of wetland beyond <br />what was needed by the project for mitigation.
