CITY OF RAMSEY 1998-2003 CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM PROJECT TITLE: County Road #116 Extension Water Plan/Casing PROJECT TYPE: Water Utility Improvement PROJECT YEAR: 1998 TOTAL ESTIMATED COST: $25,000 PROJECT DESCRIPTION AND LOCATION This Anoka County project will extend County Road #116 from County Road #56 westward one mile to County Road #83. This segment of roadway will provide an important arterial east-west link. PROJECT Start Date PROJECT JUSTIFICATION This construction will divert through traffic from existing residential neighborhoods between Ramsey Boulevard and Armstrong Boulevard as well as provide access for the development of Section 28. The placement of casing pipes beneath the roadway will facilitate less expensive installation of future sewer and water utilities. I I I I I I I I Summary of Total Project Costs: A.
