ORDINANCE #98-_ <br /> <br /> CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AR AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 4 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE PUBLIC FACILITIES <br />AND IMPROVEMENTS CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE ADDING SECTION 4.~0 "AR~A RESTRICTIONS ON THE <br />EXTENSION OF PUBLIC SEWER AND WATER BERVICES" TO CHAPTER 4 OF THE <br />CITY CODE OF RAMBEY. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br /> <br />4.80.01 AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant to the authority granted the <br />City council by Sections 1.2 and 3.4 of the Ramsey City Charter. <br /> <br />4.80.02 PURPOSE <br /> <br />The purpose of this ordinance is to define those areas of the City <br />which will NOT generally be req%/ired to connect to City water and <br />sewer. <br /> <br />4.80.03 APPLIC~BILITY <br /> <br />This ordinance applies to those areas of the City located in the <br />Urban Reserve Area as identified and shown on the attached City <br />map. The said attached map is labeled Exhibit "A" and is <br />incorporated herein and made a part of this ordinance. <br /> <br />4.80.04 R~GULATIONS <br /> <br />The Urban Reserve Areas identified on Exhibit "A" are areas of the <br />City where properties shall NOT be required to connect to City <br />sewer and water improvements unless one of the following events <br />occur: <br /> <br />The public improvement is petitioned for by residents <br />pursuant to the provisions of City Chartsr Chapter 8; or <br /> <br />The City, Minnesota Department of Health and/or the <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency ("MPCA") determine <br />that a public health hazard exists which hazard will be <br />alleviated by the installation of public sewer and/or <br />water utilities. <br /> <br />4.80.05 EFFECTIVE DATE <br /> <br />The effective date of this Ordinance is thirty (30) days after its <br />passage and publication, subject to the City Charter Section 5.07. <br /> <br />I <br />I <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />i <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> i <br /> i <br /> I <br /> I <br /> I <br /> <br /> <br />
