Norman <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br />Acting Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Accounting Clerk Linda Mayer <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer called the special meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />5:07 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: Recommend Appointment of Diana J. Lund as Finance Officer <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith noted that the City Council interviewed <br />the finalists for the Finance Officer on Tuesday, June 9, and agreed to offer the position <br />to Diana J. Lund, who has been serving as Acting Finance Officer. The City <br />Administrator and Administrative Services Manager have worked out details with Ms. <br />Lund and recommend that the City Council appoint her Finarice Officer, effective June <br />24, 1998, at an annual salary of $52,500. Benefits will be the same as those granted to <br />other employees except for vacation.
