The city will have to inform of their bid
requirements. Delivery on hardware and software is two to three weeks.

3) Setup a training schedule for the new Office product. Note: New PCs can be setup in a
training room environment and then deployed to the staff members after training.

4) Register Intemet MX records, firewall changes.

5) Order hardware to upgrade existing Pentiums to 32 Meg of memory and order Windows
98 upgrades.

6) Setup a standard desktop for all new PCs running Windows 98. This desktop should
include the Office 97 suite, Intemet browser, Reflections, GroupWise client and printers.

7) Setup new server, network software, email package and run tests before migration of end
users.

8) Restructure network backbone to a switch network.

9) Migrate users from existing server to new server.

10) Migrate existing PCs to Windows 98 and the standard desktop environment. This is to be
done at the time of the end user training.

LOGIS is dedicated at providing the City of Ramsey with a smooth transition to LOGIS and the new
network hardware and software. Server and backbone migrations will be done off-hours not to interfere
with the normal operations of city staff.
