I have listed the concerns which were mentioned and am addressing each one as best I can at this time. Gun Club: I understand there is no development planned for the near future. I also understand that Mr. Bauer is planning to operate the Club for several years and that the Sporting Clay Range is being closed. The Sporting Clay Range, which is the area in the woods closest to your development, will remain closed during the ~vinter months as it has in the past. Covenants: After review with the City Attorney, it looks like the termination date is October 30, 1998, which means a new covenant would have to be filed with the City. It would be done by the homeowners or their attorney and presented to the City for review. The homeowners would then submit it to the County for recording. The covenant is to be enforced by a review committee of Traprock residents who would be able to have issues handled in court. Some areas of Ramsey have a homeowners association which controls this. Horse Arena: The Saddle Club is planning to continue to use Trott Brook Park. The Club members are planning a meeting for October or November and, at that time, will decide whether to continue to use the arena. The cost to fence in the perimeter with chain link is about $13,000 and playground equipment would be between $30,000 and $40,000.
