The Accounting Clerk's primary responsibilities are to process <br />payroll and accounts payable. The position is in the AFscME bargaining unit and reports to the <br />Finance Officer. It also receives work direction from the Senior Accountant. <br />The salary range for the position is $26,076 to $31,800. <br /> <br />The opening was posted internally and then advertised externally. Thirty-five applications were <br />received and rated independently by three people, according to pre-established criteria. Seven <br />people were invited to interview on September 9, 1998.
