Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: RESOLUTION #98-09 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TRANSFER OF $3,000 FROM CONTINGENCY FUND TO FUND THE HIRING OF A PART-TIME ADMINISTRATIVE INTERN WHEREAS, at the Personnel Committee meeting of September 22, 1998, staff presented a request for the hiring of a part-time Administrative Intern; and WHEREAS, funding for an Administrative Intern has been included in the 1999 budget, but no fimding for such position was incorporated in the I998 budget; and WHEREAS, staff has presented a request for an increase of $3,000 in the amount budgeted for personal services in 1998; and WHEREAS, included in the I998 Adopted General Fund budget under the contingency fund are sufficient resources to accommodate this budget transfer. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: 1) That the Ramsey City Council hereby directs the Finance Officer to enter {his budget transfer into the City's financial records. The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: and the following voted against: and the following abstained: and the following were absent: whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council this the 22nd day of September, 1998.
