Councilmember introduced the following resolution and moved for its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION #98-10- <br /> <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS AND <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR IMPROVEMENT PROJECT #98-16 (BITUMINOUS PAVING <br /> OF BISON STREET FROM 171ST AVENUE TO A POINT 1000 FEET SOUTH <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Ramsey City Council adopted Resolution #98-06-112 on June 9, 1998, <br /> fixing a date for a Council public hearing on the proposed improvement to bituminous pave <br /> Bison Street from 171st Avenue to a point 1000 feet south thereof (Improvement Project #98- <br /> 16); and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, ten days' mailed notice and two weeks' published notice of the hearing was <br />given, and the hearing was held on August 11, 1998, at which time all persons desiring to be <br />heard were given an opportunity to be heard thereon; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City has waited the required sixty (60) days following the public <br />hearing. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />RAMSEY, ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA: <br /> <br />1) Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed on June 9, 1998. <br /> <br />2) City Engineer Steve Jankowski is hereby designated as the engineer for this <br /> improvement. He shall prepare plans and specifications for the making of such <br /> improvement. <br /> <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember __ <br />~ and upon vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor thereof: <br /> <br />and the following voted against the same: <br />and the following abstained: <br />and the following were absent: <br /> <br />whereupon said'resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City Council <br />this the 13th day of October, 1998. <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br />/5;, <br /> <br /> <br />
