! <br />! <br /> <br />PERSONNEL COMMITTEE <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br /> ANOKA COUNTY <br /> STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />The Ramsey Personnel Committee conducted a regular meeting on Tuesday, August 11, <br />1998, at the Rarnsey Municipal Center, 15153 Nowthen Boulevard NW, Ramsey, <br />Minnesota. <br /> <br />Members Present: <br /> <br />Mayor Thomas Gamec <br />Councilmember Sheila Beyer <br /> <br />Also Present: <br /> <br />City Administrator James E. Norman <br />Administrative Services Manager Linda Waite Smith <br />Finance Officer Diana Lund <br />Police Chief David Gustafson <br />Director of Public Works Dean Kapler <br /> <br />CALL TO ORDER <br /> <br />Councilmember Beyer called the regular meeting of the Personnel Committee to order at <br />5:35 p.m. <br /> <br />CITIZEN INPUT <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />APPROVE AGENDA <br /> <br />Consensus was to approve the agenda as presented. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE BUSINESS: <br /> <br />Case #1: End Probationary Period of Patrol Officer Cheryl (Carlson) Hassel <br /> <br />Administrative Services Manager Waite Smith reported that Cheryl Hasgel began <br />working for the City of Ramsey as a Patrol Officer on August 1, 1997. She received a <br />satisfactory performance evaluation from her supervisors and they are recommending she <br />be retained as a regular, full-time City employee. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Gamec and seconded by Councilmember Beyer to recommend Council <br />adopt the resolution ending the probationary period for Patrol Officer Cheryl Hassel and <br />granting her the status of regular, full-time employee, effective August 1, 1998. <br /> <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Gamec and Councilmember Beyer. Voting No: <br />None. Absent: None. <br /> <br />Personnel Committee/August 11, 1998 <br /> Page 1 of 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
